Art. I, S. 1A
Art. VII, S. 2A, 2C
Increased fees for licensees due to an operating shortfall. Irresponsible government management of a program should not be simply placed on the shoulders of those the government regulates.
Pre. P6, P7
Art. I, S. 1A, S. 2A, 2B
Increase the maximum Forest Practices assessment from $0.10 an acre per year to $0.20 an acre per year. Decreased expenditure could be used instead of increasing taxes. Given the other wasteful spending, this is a violation of various "responsible government" clauses in the Platform.
Pre. P6, P7
Art. I, S. 1D
The estimated cost is $27,000 per year to track maternal deaths.
Pre. P6, P7
Art. I, S. 1A
Requires that the Idaho Department of Transportation develop an electronic verification system to monitor the status of insurance coverage as to all registered vehicles. This is an expensive and unnecessary waste of taxpayer money. It could put legitimately insured drivers at risk of being falsely identified as lacking insurance. We don't need this program.
Pre. P6, P7
Art. I S. 1D
Adds to existing law to provide that syringe and needle exchange programs may be established with certain conditions by Private groups. We count this bill as a violation of the Platform because the resulting regulations and cost requirements would bring the government into play in an area that is not a prerogitive of government. This bill also violates common sense, in that it encourages drug addiction.
Pre. P3, P6, P7
Art. I S. 1D
H0187 is an appropriations bill for the funding of the Commission on Hispanic Affairs. This is an eregious waste of taxpayers money. There should not be any preference or special consideration of any class of people based on race, creed or ethnicity. The Commission on Hispanic Affairs should be abolished.
Pre. P6, P7
Art. I, S. 1D, 5B
Appropriation to the Public Health Districts. 4.9% increase in budget including line items not requested by agency or the governor. Wasteful spending.
Pre. P3
Art. IX
This bill is a violation of the US Constitution's 4th Amendment. It allows for arrest without warrant. This is an extremely dangerous bill.
Pre. P6, P7
Art. I, S. 1D
The estimated cost is $200,000 per year for a completely unnecessary "Wolf Control Board."
Pre. P7, P8, P11
This purpose of this legislation is to treat the use of certain wireless devices behind-the-wheel as an infraction. This is the Nanny State at its worst.
Art. I, S. 1A, S. 2A, 2B
This bill amends Idaho Code §§ 25-1122 and 25-1160 establishing increased maximum fees for ownership and transportation certifications; increased maximum brand inspection fees for, horses, mules, and asses; to provide for equine farm service fees. Yet another tax increase.
Pre. P6, P7
Art. I, S. 1A
Art. XIII, S. 1A, S. 2B, 2C, S. 3A, 3C
This is an FY 2019 supplemental appropriation bill for the Department of Health and Welfare for the Division of Medicaid. Massive spending bill. Medicaid is socialized medical welfare. Government should not be in the Health Care business.
Pre. P6, P7
Art. I, S. 1A, 1E
Arms new investigators in the Attorney General's Office with ballistic vests and pistols after they create a new unit called the Criminal Disability Investigations Unit (that was "directed" by 2015 Congressional action). This follows federal policy of arming various departments of the government that have no need to be armed. The federal govenment is not paying for this federal mandate. We view this as an unnecessary and further militarization of non-police government agencies.
Pre. P6, P7
Art. I, S. 1A
The fiscal impact of this supplemental appropriation bill is a net reduction of $2,000,000 from the General Fund. This is a massive spending bill for social welfare programs that should be abolished, including so-called home visitation.
Pre. P5, P6, P7, P8
Art. I, S. 1A, 1D. S. 2E. S. 3B. S. 5D
Art XIII S. 1. S. 2B, 2C, 2D
S1171 is the Obama Care (Medicaid) Expansion funding bill. It is an unconstitutional federal mandate at every level. 2018's Proposition 2, mandated implementation of Obama Care Expansion, yet provided no method for funding it. The correct action for the Legislature would have been to repeal the citizen initiative, not fund it. This is quite possibly the worst bill of the legislative session.
Pre. P3
Art IX
Art XVI, S. 1A, 1E
Also known as Marsy's Law, this bill left gun owners at the mercy of judges and opened the door for "Red Flag" gun confiscation orders. It violated the right to due process and the idea off innocence until proven guilt. It needlessly amends the Idaho State Constitution based on emotionalism, not facts or legal necessity. SJR101 was opposed by the Idaho Second Amendment Alliance and the ACLU.

2018 Idaho Freedom Index score: 89.9%. Sen. Crabtree's support for Marsy's law is cause for concern. Sen. Crabtree defeated former Senator, Sheryl Nuxoll, a staunch conservative, with the help of notorious Democratic front PAC, Sportsmen For Idaho. We take a dim view of so-called conservatives challenging proven conservative incumbents, especially when they do not perform as well.

2018 Idaho Freedom Index score: 76.1%. In prior years, Sen. Chuck Winder's Index scores were in the 51% to 60% range. He is bought and paid for by PACs and Special Interests. Sen. Winder personifies what is wrong in Boise. We urge District 20 voters to rid the Senate of this RINO in the next election.

Art. I, S. 1A
Art. VII, S.
Pre. P6, P7
Art. I, S. 1A
This legislation will provide a sales tax exemption for the labor cost of adding accessories to a new vehicle.
Pre. P6, P7
Art. I, S.

Pre. P3
Art XVI, S. 1A, 1E
Art IX
Also known as Marsy's Law, this bill left gun owners at the mercy of judges and opened the door for "Red Flag" gun confiscation orders. It violated the right to due process and the idea off innocence until proven guilt. It needlessly amends the Idaho State Constitution based on emotionalism, not facts or legal necessity. SJR101 was opposed by the Idaho Second Amendment Alliance and the ACLU.

Art IX
Marsy's Law V2.0 Updated to remove objectionable gun issues. Still too many Due Process Violations to support. It needlessly amends the Idaho State Constitution based on emotionalism, not facts or legal necessity.
